How do you like this one....

I've been contemplating for a long time whether to post this photo on the blog. Against the risk of having one of the girls in the photo skin me alive for showcasing them and myself at our purest and most unprententious age, I'm letting everyone have a good laugh.

This is our kindy photo (can't remember year 1 or 2) at St.Elizabeth Kindergaten which used to be right beside the current Catholic Church at Jalan Lanang in Sibu. I think an eating place sits on the land now.

There are at least 5 of the girls, including myself, in the photo who was in Form 6. I can't recognise everyone in the photo....have fun guessing which 5 of us were your Form 6 schoolmates!

Thanks Ivy, a very rare treat indeed :)

I studied the photo carefully and I thought I saw some familiar faces, but can't really pinpoint who they are.

And I tried very hard but can't recognize you! :)

By the way, Louis mentioned to me last year he has the male equivalent at his home. Louis, what say you?

Pat, I'd be speechless if you could point me out?!

Ya Louis, where's the post you promised? Your kindy would have been at St.Mary's, right?

Alah. Ivy was the shortest girl standing with flower dress.

It is not that hard to discern her. Especially when you know the trick ("the one that look least Chinese") Ha ha.

Hansac, you are bloody damn good, I am totally speechless!! Very clever way to spot me, and it remains to this day that I am "un-chinese" looking...

Ivy, without Hansac's comments, I can also point out..

I think I which one is Leh Ning ?

Ivy, too avoid straining our eyes and logics, appreciate if you could list down the names but do not tell us where are the positioning...then it is a clear cut.

BTW, the place is used to be my Sunday playground when my grandma is in the Church, I will go out playing.

Leh Ning is 4th from the right, standing in white dress with spot flower ?

Ivy, allow me to guess. Before that, any present for guessing the right person?

Front row: 3rd right - Pang Li Lieng
2nd row: left most - Josephine
7th from left - Connie
right most - Laura chuo (the spelling could be wrong)
3rd row: standing - Ivy's form teacher. correct or not?

Now whoever can guess the boys under the tree right will get 2 free air-tickets to Switzerland, to be sponsored by heroes.

Is that right, heroes?

You guys are GOOD lah!! I'm longing to see YOUR kindy photo and find out if we girls are as good at spotting who's who.

Yup Gr8buds, tht's Leh Ning. And Jo has got everyone right too. How do you knw Connie Tiong, Jo?

Some others in the photo are Anne Kho, Susie Lau, Wong Yee Ling, Teo Chang Lee, Alison Chiu, Patricia Ong....most were not in F6, and the rest I can't remember who they are either.

Joe, Heroes has the ability to do teleporting anyway in the world....so just open up to any place for the winners tyo choose..

However, those are not boys...they are girls...as I think the kindi are for all girls only...

Ivy, do you still remember the name of your kindi form teacher, the lady in the photo ? Maybe it is good to have the reunion too !

BTW, my dad also accidentally met his primary schoolmate in 50 years on last Sunday when we were together at Aloha coffeeshop,...what a nice reunion ?

joseph,
U got those name correct from your life time adviser right?

Heroes,

Mr Tee, who is my life time advisor??

Mr Tee said...

U dont know meh, joseph?

No need to think hard. Straight forward leh. ;)

We had boys at the kindy too...I don't know why the photo taken was all girls only.

I don't think Joe knows who's who from his wife. She's our senior, I believe she wouldn't recognise any of us in our kindy days, right Joe?

Hardy said...

Hey, I came from that kindy too and they are few other boys.

Mr Tee, now I got you mean by life time advisor. Actually nobody tell me who's who in the photo.

Just to want to guess another person in the photo. The one squatting next to Pang li lieng is cecily . Is that right, Ivy?

Ivy, FYI Connie and I studied in the same class. She has migrated to Australia or NZ . Huh, bukan saja boleh cam muka tapi boleh cam tempat tinggal juga!!
