MyGreatBuds asked for the latest update on the ticket sales, so here they are:-
Sibu -- 11 confirmed
Kuching -- 10 plus confirmed
KL -- 10 confirmed (including 2 from Singapore)
So, all in we have 30 plus confirmed participants so far.
Please help to spread the news about the reunion and the blog to all the ex-SHS contacts you have :) Thanks.

Pat, please send the confirmed listing to our emails; Heroes, Ivy, David Kuok, Joseph & mygreatbuds.
We shall continue to discussing over in our email....giving great programme for the night...
Less than 40? That is barely a classroom???
I bought three tickets!
Mygreatbuds, email has been sent out.
This is very Sarawakian...shy and non-commital.
I do not see why we could not get 100.
I have spreaded the news to our buddies especially those in Sibu but they just can't want to make the decision to purchase the tickets. Maybe they just want to wait for their own gang to purchase first or wait till the last minutes to buy the tickets.
Any suggestions for the above mentioned problem?
Wah. Just to buy a RM35 ticket also need alot of cajoling? What more to ask for donations? John Fam will not come, but he already pledged RM200.
This reunion will be special for me because:
1. It has been almost 20 years since I last met some of my school buddies, and this will be my first reunion.
2. I do not know whether we will meet again in the future, so far I have not crossed path in my career with anyone from my batch in SHS.
3. Some of us already permanently will not attend anymore reunions, let us cherish the little more time we are given vis-a-vis our deceased friends.
I do believe this is a matter of personal preferences, some of us may like to do other things. That we must respect.
My time at SHS has been one of the few turning moments in my life. Had I remained at Tung Hua or worse go to Rosli Dhoby and not compete with the best under a dedicated teaching faculty, I might have become a mediocre for the rest of my life.
As of 2.30pn just now...we have 49 confirmed classmates inclusive wives...
Hansac, it isn't the RM35 that's stopping people. Some of us age and grow old, some of us age and remain young.
The stay young ones never tire of reunions - congratulate yourself for being one of those!!!!
